Adnan Jalil is a seasoned Federal and International government affairs professional with 20 years of legislative and policy experience in Washington. He is the Principal of Alpha Strategies, LLC, a Washington, D.C., based bipartisan consulting firm specializing in representing industry specific issues before Congress and the Executive Branch. He currently advises clients and provides guidance on how to effectively communicate issues within the Administration and Congress.
He was previously the Senior Policy Advisor to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (R-NC-2) and was the principal advisor to the Congresswoman on a variety of issues in the powerful Committee on Energy and Commerce.
Mr. Jalil started his career with Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI-1) and then advocated on behalf of U.S. multinational corporations on international tax and investment issues at the Emergency Committee for American Trade (ECAT). He then advocated on behalf of members of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) in emerging markets around the world on intellectual property rights and patents issues as well as the diplomatic community in Washington.
Mr. Jalil was also responsible for managing relationships in the House and Senate to a variety of professional associations and industry stakeholders including the American Physical Therapy Association, (APTA), the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), and the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA).
